Here is the First Set of Phrases in Spanish for Customer Service Representatives:

Let’s begin with a few examples that can be used to open a conversation.

Phrase 1

  • Hola, mi nombre es Alberto García; gracias por llamar a Banco del Norte. ¿Me puede decir su nombre?
  • Hi, my name is Alberto García; thank you for calling Banco del Norte. May I know your name?
  • Hola, mi nombre es Alberto García; gracias por llamar a Banco del Norte. ¿Me puede decir su nombre?

In this example, depending on the time of the day, you could replace the word “hola”  for one of these words:

  • Buenos días – Good morning
  • Buenas tardes – Good afternoon
  • Buenas noches – Good evening

Phrase 2

  • Mucho gusto. ¿Cómo puedo ayudarle hoy?
  • Nice to meet you. How may I help you today Sir?
  • Mucho gusto. ¿Cómo puedo ayudarle hoy?

The next phrase is another alternative you could use to start this kind of conversation.

Phrase 3

  • ¿Cómo puedo ayudarle?
  • How may I help you Sir?
  • ¿Cómo puedo ayudarle?

You could also say:

  • ¿Cómo puedo ayudarle hoy?
  • How may I help you today?
  • ¿Cómo puedo ayudarle hoy?

Now, let’s go over a few phrases that can be used to help customers feel heard and understood.

Phrase 4

  • Entiendo cómo se siente.
  • I understand how you feel.
  • Entiendo cómo se siente.

You could also say:

  • Entiendo que se sienta así
  • I understand that you feel that way
  • Entiendo que se sienta así

Phrase 5

  • Entiendo su punto de vista. Vamos a trabajar juntos para encontrar una solución.
  • I understand your point of view. We will work together to find a solution.
  • Entiendo su punto de vista. Vamos a trabajar juntos para encontrar una solución.
